Dick Whittington

There was once a boy called Dick Whittingtin. He lived on his own, in the country.
The hero of this story is boy who name is Dick Whittington. He hadn't work, so he was very poor. That was why h decided to go to London to work. He looked for work after he arrived in London. However he couldn't find his work. The next day, Dick ran into a rich person. His name is Mr. Fitzwarren. Dick became a servant at his discretion. He enjoyed working, and everyone who was working in this house was kind to Dick. On the evening of the first day, Mr. Fitzwarren gave him the very top of the house. However there were a lot of mice in this room. Dick couldn't a good night's rest. Therefore he visited the big city market to spend his money when he got his wages. In the big city market, he bought the biggest cat to catch the mice. He christened this cat Tom. On the evening of the same day, the cat shooed the mice away, and he could fell fast sleep. Several days later, Mr. Fitzwarren gathered his servants and said, "If you have anything you want to sell, it can go on the ship. It sails tonight." Dick thought "Maybe someone will give two pennies for Tom." He parted with Tom. That night, he felt guilty and he couldn't sleep. His work was harder than before. Therefore he was going to back to the country. Early in the morning, he walked to left London. At that time Dick heard church bells rang out…

The key of this story is Tom. If I were Dick, I'm sure I couldn't part with Tom. From Tom's viewpoint, this story may sad story. But I think thanks to Tom, Dick got a happiness. This is a complex story.
