The RUNAWAY PANCAKE

"I'm sorry," said the pig. "I can't hear you. You'll have to come closer."

I read The RUNAWAY PANCAKE. A lot of characters appear on this story: a pancake, a goat, a cat, a duck, a rabbit, a dog , a fox, a pig, and all the family. At a certain place, there was once a family which there were seven children. Their mother was going to make pancakes for breakfast. However, the pancake jumped right of the pan when she tossed the first pancake, and ran away from home! "I don't want to be eaten", the pancake thought. Then, the pancake continued to roll and all the family chasing behind. The pancake escaped the everyone: a goat, a cat and so on. At the edge of a forest, the pancake came across the pig which was in a pen. The pancake asked for help but the pig said, "What did you say?" pretend to be a pig who has difficulty in hearing. Then, the pancake went over the fence and enter the pen...
This story is one of the sad stories I think.
